Publication Ethical standards stands for high-quality research findings with public trust.

Plagiarism

All journals under ScopesScience (SS) publishes only original research, that has not been published elsewhere nor is under consideration elsewhere. Manuscripts found to have been plagiarized from an article of another researcher, will incur plagiarism sanctions.

Duplicate Submission

If an article has been found to have duplicate publication, or to be under review by another journal, will incur duplicate publication sanctions.

Citation Manipulation

Articles found to include citations which main aim is to increase the number of citations to a work, or to papers published in particular journals, will incur citation manipulation sanctions.

Data Fabrication and Falsification

Articles found to include fabricated or falsified experimental results, as well as manipulation of images, will incur data fabrication and falsification sanctions.

Improper Author Contribution or Attribution

Authors listed in the article have to be involved the research, whose contribution should be clearly detailed. It is highly important to make sure everyone with significant contribution, including students are listed in the manuscript.

Redundant Publications

Redundant publications explains and points to inappropriate division of study results into several articles.

Sanctions

In the occurrence of documented violations of above-mentioned policies in any publishing platform, regardless if the violation occurred in a journal published under ScopesScience (SS), the following sanctions will be applied:

  • Immediate rejection of the manuscript.
  • Immediate rejection of every other manuscript submitted to any journal published by ScopesScience (SS) by any of the authors of the infringing manuscript.
  • Prohibition against all authors of the infringing manuscript for new submissions to journals published by ScopesScience (SS), either individual submission or in combination with any other authors will be applied for 2 years (24 months).
  • ScopesScience (SS) reserves the right to apply additional sanctions beyond those mentioned herewith.
