Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement
Publication Ethical standards stands for high-quality research findings with public trust for all Peer-reviewed articles, which are composed by methodologies according to scientific principles, adhere to these principles throughout the research process, and ensure high quality standards and necessary performance improvement based on scientific reliability. It is of utmost importance that all individuals involved in the planning, execution, and processing of the data to write the article, as well as the reviewers and editors involved in the evaluation process, adhere to ethical principles, recommendation, and guidlines by;

Plagiarism
All journals under ScopesScience publish only original research, that has not been published elsewhere nor is under consideration elsewhere. Manuscripts found to have been plagiarized from an article of another researcher, will incur plagiarism sanctions.
Duplicate Submission
If an article has been found to have duplicate publication, or to be under review by another journal, will incur duplicate publication sanctions.
Citation Manipulation
Articles found to include citations which main aim is to increase the number of citations to a work, or to papers published in particular journals, will incur citation manipulation sanctions.
Data Fabrication and Falsification
Articles found to include fabricated or falsified experimental results, as well as manipulation of images, will incur data fabrication and falsification sanctions.
Improper Author Contribution or Attribution
Authors listed in the article have to be involved the research, whose contribution should be clearly detailed. It is highly important to make sure everyone with significant contribution, including students are listed in the manuscript.
Redundant Publications
Redundant publications explains and points to inappropriate division of study results into several articles.
Sanctions
In the occurrence of documented violations of above-mentioned policies in any publishing platform, regardless if the violation occurred in a journal published under ScopesScience, the following sanctions will be applied:
- Immediate rejection of the manuscript.
- Immediate rejection of every other manuscript submitted to any journal published by ScopesScience by any of the authors of the infringing manuscript.
- Prohibition against all authors of the infringing manuscript for new submissions to journals published by ScopesScience, either individual submission or in combination with any other authors will be applied for 2 years (24 months).
- ScopesScience reserves the right to apply additional sanctions beyond those mentioned herewith.

Ethical Responsibilities for Authors
- The article has not been previously published anywhere.
- The article is not being considered for publication elsewhere.
- The citations in the article are complete and accurate.
- The formatting in the citations and reference list is according to APA 6.
- The data contained in the article does not appear in any other previously published article.
- All authors confirm all the information provided in the article.
- All authors confirm that there are no conflicts of interest.
- The authors agree to provide the raw data of the article if requested by the editor or reviewers during the evaluation process.
- It is accepted that the text, figures, all materials used in the article do not conflict with copyright law.
- All authors whose names appear in the article must have made a significant contribution to the study.
- In the event that plagiarism is detected in the evaluation process or in an accepted article, all responsibility rests with the authors. The publisher and journal reserve the right to retract an article in case of plagiarism, even if it has been previously accepted, and authors cannot appeal this decision, nor is the journal liable for any consequences arising from plagiarism.
- Changes to author names and order after submission, or the removal or addition of an author whose name appeared in the initial submission, are only possible before the article is accepted and with the editor's approval. When requesting a change in author names, the reason for the change must be clearly stated, and the consent of the added or removed author must be obtained.
- All authors must disclose any conflicts of interest with other individuals or organizations that could negatively impact the study.
- All organizations and sources supporting or funding the study must be declared.
Ethical Responsibilities for Editors
All articles submitted to the journal are evaluated independently of the authors' gender, race, ethnicity, religion, nationality, or political affiliations. Personal information related to the article will be kept confidential.
All conflicts of interest identified in connection with members of the Editorial Board, as well as any conflicts of interest and plagiarism detected in the articles, must be disclosed.
The Editorial Board assumes responsibility for making publication decisions for submitted articles based on the editorial board's policies and copyright infringement rules during the evaluation process. A double-blind peer-review system with at least two peer reviewers is used to evaluate articles for publication.
Editors reserve the right to reject an article without peer review in the following cases:
- If the study deals with a topic outside the scope of the journal.
- If it is not technically sufficient.
- If it was conducted in a narrow field and has a low level of importance
- If contradictory results have been identified
- If writing rules have not been followed and the writing style is inappropriate
- If a violation of scientific ethics has been detected
If the number of articles submitted to the journal is very high, the editor(s) have the right to reject the articles without going through the peer review process with preliminary evaluations. The final decision regarding the acceptance or rejection of articles belongs to the Editor(s).
Ethical Responsibilities for Reviewers
Before accepting an article for review, reviewers are advised to check and adhere to the following issues:
- It is important to maintain the confidentiality of the articles and not share them in any way.
- Reviewers must keep their opinions on the article confidential during the peer-review process and avoid using them for personal gain afterwards.
- Reviewers must clearly state their opinions for the peer-review and base all their opinions on scientific principles.
- Reviewers must complete the evaluation within the time allotted for the peer-review. If the time is insufficient, an extension may be requested from the Editor.
- Reviewers must inform the editor and decline the invitation to review if they have a conflict of interest with any of the authors. The peer-review of the article should be conducted objectively and based solely on the content of the study. Nationality, gender, religious beliefs, political views, and commercial concerns should be avoided from influencing the evaluation of the article.
- After accepting the peer review invitation, reviewers should first check whether the article is original research, and if it is considered original, the methodology should be checked.
- In this context, the following points should be considered:
- Is the methodology appropriate and safe?
- Is the method appropriate and safe?
- Are the results reported in the article consistent with the statistical data?
- Does the abstract contain sufficient information?
- State the innovative and interesting points of the article.
- Is the article consistent with the topics covered by the journal?
- Has the journal's writing guidelines been followed?
- Does the title reflect the content of the article?
- Are the results and findings adequately addressed in the discussion?
- Are the references sufficient and up-to-date? Information on general writing guidelines can be obtained from the relevant sections of the journal.

- Avoid statements that could be considered personal attacks in your evaluation.

Rights granted to Journal published under ScopesScience
Journals published under ScopesScience reserve the right to reject and withdraw articles from publication, even after they have been accepted, if serious scientific content issues are found or if the journal's publication policies are deemed to have been violated.
